QatarEnergy LNG, based in Doha, Qatar, is the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) company. It produces and supplies around 77 million metric tonnes of LNG annually through multiple ventures, sourcing natural gas from the North Field, the largest non-associated gas field globally. Established in 1974, QatarEnergy LNG is a state-owned enterprise that emerged from the merger of Qatargas and Rasgas, aiming to consolidate Qatar�s LNG production.
The company operates extensive upstream, midstream, and downstream activities, managing liquefaction, transportation, and sales of LNG worldwide. It has plans to expand its production capacity to 142 million tonnes per annum by 2030. QatarEnergy LNG also invests in clean energy initiatives, including blue ammonia production and solar power generation, exemplified by the Al-Kharsaah Solar Power Plant. With a diverse product portfolio that includes LNG, stabilized field condensate, and granulated sulphur, QatarEnergy LNG serves a global customer base across major energy markets in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
